It was among the hottest summers on record and my AC system was malfunctioning. I’d just bought a place with central air. So prior to that day if I had any malfunctions I’d just purchase a brand new cheap window air conditioner. Not the most economical course of action but it allowed me to go on leading a carefree bachelor life. But my life has changed. I now consider myself as somewhat of an grown man someone who dates real estate agents and folds my clothes placing them neatly in drawers as if I have some selfrespect. Keeping with this new lifestyle I couldn’t allow my home to stay at such high temperatures. I briefly thought about keeping my fridge door ajar so I could absorb the cool air as I watched watched a movie from my kitchen. No no. This is what my former self would’ve done while eating Gogurts and wishing they made bigger Gogurt containers. The new me phoned a HVAC place. With my most professional voice I asked for their assistance. %%The repairman came over right away and had my air conditioner fixed in no time. The guy told me his company could fix a lot of other homerelated things. They had electricians plumbers and furnace repairman ready 24 hours a day. What a great number to have for a real actual adult.

If I had one hope at that moment it would’ve been to have known a plumber, preferably a 24 hour one. I phoned countless plumbers, hoping anybody could drive over to halt the 3:00 AM deluge in my basement living room. The water was rising as my options went down the drain. This is the worst conceivable situation for me. My home repair skills are lacking, to say the least. Fortunately, I discovered a likely option. The ad said “24 hour plumbing”. I hastily dialed and an actual, live woman answered. A quick hour later a plumber was at my home. He quickly fixed the the broken pipe. But the service didn’t stop there. The company is a bigger, local outfit that could fix nearly any home maintenance problem. There was a long list of repair I needed, and now I knew the company was a dependable one, I finally felt comfortable getting to them. It made everything so much easier knowing it could all be tended to by a single company. To start I wanted to get all the HVAC work taken care of. This included AC and heater repair. Then I had an electrician to get a few broken power outlets working again. Finally, I was so happy with the previous plumber, I had him back to do some drain cleaning.
